Staff: Quickstart Checklist

You and your clinic are new to Aeon. Here are the steps to get you set up for success as a staff member.

1. Ensure your Browser is up to date Your browser is how you use Aeon so it's important to use an up-to-date version.
2. Log in to Slack and check out the features As part of the Aeon Early Access Program, you will have access to Slack - where you can chat instantly with Aeon staff!
3. Learn how to contact Aeon Support As you learn the program, you may have questions.  We're here to help!
4. Accept your Aeon Invite You will receive an email inviting you to the Aeon account.  You will set up your password.
5. Set up local Pharmacies (if not completed by your clinic's Admin - only one individual needs to complete this) Using Aeon, practitioners can send Prescriptions to the patient's Preferred Pharmacy.  It would be quicker if local pharmacies were populated in Aeon in advance so that they could quickly be linked to patients.
6. Create Facilities & Practitioners (if not completed by your clinic's Admin - only one individual needs to complete this) Practitioners in your clinic will create referrals for Consultations.  These Consultations are linked to the external Facility and the consulting Practitioner.  These should be created in advance, where possible, to make the Consultation process as quick as possible. 
7. Create Contacts (if not completed by your clinic's Admin - only one individual needs to complete this) Outside of Patients and Specialists, Contacts that your clinic deals with can be created in Aeon.  We'd suggest exporting your contacts from the current program, removing duplicates and expired, then creating them by navigating to Resources > Contacts
8. Learn Aeon Complete the Staff Training to learn how to use Aeon features.
9. Create Patient Profiles Each patient will require a Patient Profile set up for them.
