- BC Practitioners creating Billing Claims in Aeon and are ready to import into their Billing Manager for submission to Teleplan
Exporting a Billing Claim
To complete these instructions, you must have already created your Billing Claims in Aeon. For instructions see the Fee-for-Service and LFP instructions.
1. Click Billing in the left column
2. Click Filter
3. Choose the Practitioner you want to view and perform an export for
Training Tip 🎓: ClinicAid requires users to import one Practitioner at a time; therefore our suggestion to perform 1 export per Practitioner. You may be using a Billing Program that allows for an export of multiple practitioners.
Best Practice 🚀: To pull in all your billing claims, you must ensure that any Draft Billing Claims are moved to Ready for Export.
4. If there are any Draft Claims, click on each to review and when ready, change the Status to Ready for Export and then Save
5. Once all the Draft Claims you want to export are ready, click the Ready for Export tab
6. Filter by the desired Practitioner
7. Click Export:
Training Tip🎓: When you filter before exporting, only the items within the filtered parameters will show on the export. For example, if you filter for one practitioner then only that one practitioner's claims will show in the resulting export.
8. In the pop-up box, choose Export
9. In the pop-up box, choose Download Export to download the file to your computer
10. Close the pop-up box
