Charting Quick Start: Measurements

It appears that staff did not create any Measurements from the Lab report.  Create relevant Measurements while on this page.
10 Charting Quick Start: Charting Since you are already in Latisha's Patient Profile, you decide to create the Chart Note from here (as opposed to in the Calendar).  Go to the Chart Notes sub-tab and create a new Chart Note.
11 Knowledge Base Article At the top right of the Chart Note, click the Link Appointment and link it to today's appointment (Note:  This is a repeating appointment in order to set up a seeded environment in your trial account - therefore there are a list of dates.  Typically there will only be one or a few dates)
12 Charting Quick Start: Charting Give the Chart Note a title
13 Charting Quick Start: Files Add the Lab Report to the Chart Note
14 Charting Quick Start: Measurements Add updated vitals: BP 128/78, HR 72, Temp 98.6°F, Weight 165 lb

16 Charting Quick Start: Booking Task Create a Booking Task for Staff to bring her in a month to re-do Measurement readings

18 Clinic Day Card Sign and Save the Chart Note
19 Clinic Day Card Update the Appointment Status as Complete

🎉 Great job - your follow-up visit workflow is officially dialled in. By completing this scenario, you now understand that:

  • Creating today’s chart note keeps all follow-up details: labs, vitals, and interpretation, tied to the correct encounter.
  • Vitals can be added directly from the note, making it easy to record the measurements without jumping around the chart.
  • Documenting specific lab findings (such as potassium levels) ensures clarity and supports clinical decision-making down the road.
  • Tasks help you stay organized, letting you schedule follow-ups (like a 1 month check-in) without relying on memory.
  • Medication refills can be processed right with the Chart Note.
