Suggested PreRequisites:
1. To complete this practice exercise, you must use an Aeon Trial Account. We provide these during trials or onboarding.
2. It is best if this exercise is completed after Practitioner Foundations Training Session 1.
3. All assets (cards) referred to are provided by Aeon Support. Contact us if you don't have them or require an updated copy.
Sarah Sampson: Morning Start and Chart Note Creation

Sarah Sampson has arrived for her appointment. Reception has checked her in. |

OBJECTIVE |
Use Tasks and the Calendar to review the day, open Sarah’s appointment, review relevant patient information, start a Chart Note, use free text and an embeds, finalize the Chart Note at the end of the visit. |

Check Sarah's Allergies and current Medications. Create a new Prescription for a different medication for her depression. Don't fax it out, but download it for Sara to take it with her. |

🎉 Congrats! You've successfully taken a patient through an appointment while logging all the information in Aeon! By finishing this scenario, you now understand that:
- Appointment statuses are editable, giving you a quick visual snapshot of where each patient is in their visit.
- Appointment Details (right-side panel) show key information at a glance, including visit reason, timing, and shortcuts to the chart.
- Starting a Chart Note from the Appointment links the Appointment to the Chart Note and is a simple click.
- A patient’s profile centralizes their full medical story—past notes, issues, medications, allergies, labs, and files—so you can review everything quickly before the visit starts.
