Immunizations: An Overview

Learn all about Aeon's immunization tracking system

The Immunization feature is here to help healthcare providers easily create, track, and manage patient immunization records. It offers handy fields for vaccine details, keeps tabs on statuses like “Administered” and potential reactions, sets up reminders, and lets you review historical data with a convenient timeline.

Some common tasks you will perform with this feature include:

  • Create immunization records from chart notes or the index
  • View immunization details, including vaccine type, dose, date, and status
  • Edit and update immunization records, including changes to administered status and reaction
  • Tasks are generated as reminders for vaccines that are due within 2 weeks
  • Archive outdated or incorrect immunization records
  • Access the timeline for an audit trail of historical actions and comments
