Admin: Quickstart Checklist
Essential first‑steps guide for administrators to configure and launch Aeon at your clinic
Pre-Checklist
These items should be completed in advance of the Go Live in Aeon date.

| 1. | Active SRFax Healthcare plan |
In order to use the SRFax Integration to send and receive faxes, you must have an active SRFax account with a dedicated fax number before connecting it to Aeon. There can be a delay in either configuring a new number or porting over your own, so we suggest this is completed in advance of the Go Live Date. |
| 2. | Sign up for Clinic Aid |
If you will be processing Bill Claims, then you would need a ClinicAid account. |
| 3. | Register for Teleplan |
The data centre number from Teleplan is required to submit Bill Claims. |
| 4. | Ensure each Practitioner is enrolled with MSP and has a billing number |
Before you can submit your claims to the MSP billing center via Teleplan, you need to get an MSP Billing Number from MSP of BC. |
| 5. | Obtain a Facility Number |
If you do not have a Facility number, and will be billing under the LFP payment model, a Facility Number is required. |

| 1. | Ensure your Browser is up to date | Your browser is how you use Aeon so it's important to use an up-to-date version. |
| 2. | Log in to Slack and check out the features | As part of the Aeon Early Access Program, you will have access to Slack - where you can chat instantly with Aeon staff! |
| 3. | Learn how to contact Aeon Support | As you learn the program, you may have questions. We're here to help! |
| 4. | Accept your Aeon Invite | You will receive an email inviting you to the Aeon account. You will set up your password. |
| 5. | Complete Billing Setup | If you will be processing Bill Claims, then you would connect ClinicAid to Teleplan and if you will be processing Private Pay bills, you will need to connect a Payment Processor to ClinicAid. |
| 6. | Set up Mickey and Minnie Test Profiles | Aeon has detailed training for practitioners and staff. To complete this, test profiles for Mickey and Minnie need to be created by one individual at your clinic. |
| 7. | Customize Clinic Settings | There are clinic-wide settings that must be setup to pull information into Bill Claims, how your clinic operates, and how data flows through the system. |
| 8. | Check all User Settings (Practitioner Settings are important for Billing) |
Ensure (or complete) all users have completed their User settings in Aeon. |
| 9. | Set up the SRFax Integration | To receive and send faxes from Aeon, you must set up an SRFax Integration. One person needs to complete this once. |
| 10. | Create Facilities & Practitioners | Practitioners in your clinic will create referrals for Consultations. These Consultations are linked to the external facility and the consulting practitioner. These should be created in advance where possible to make the Consultation process as quick as possible. |
| 11. | Set up local Pharmacies | Using Aeon, practitioners can send Prescriptions to the patient's Preferred Pharmacy. It would be quicker if local pharmacies were populated in Aeon in advance so that they could quickly be linked to patients. |
| 12. | Create Contacts | Outside of Patients and Specialists, Contacts that your clinic deals with can be created in Aeon. We'd suggest exporting your contacts from the current program, removing duplicates and expired, then creating them by navigating to Resources > Contacts. |
| 13. | Learn Aeon | We'd suggest checking out the Staff Training to learn how to use Aeon features. |
| 14. | Review Staff Checklist | We suggest you review the Staff Checklist to ensure that any step not on the Admin list has been completed. |
